1. Who is Fallen Breed?

-Josh (Woozy) Browning, Vocals, 20 yrs. old, Colleyville, TX.
-Brett Johnson, Guitarist, 19 yrs. old, Plano, TX.
-Brian Bolin, Bassist, 20 yrs. old, Plano TX
-Alan Strain, Drums, 19 yrs. old, Plano, TX.

2. How did you come up with the name Fallen Breed?

(Brett)- We were all trying to think of a name for the band for a while. One night I was at a Bless the Broken (local band) show and the name sort of just slapped me in the face!

3. Tell more about your musical backgrounds.

(Woozy) - Alan participated in a school band for about six years. Brett and Brian were in a garage band called Temporary Necrosis for about a year, nothing too serious. And for me personally, this is my first band to be in.

4. What were the circumstances that caused you to come together and begin creating music?

(Brian) – We're all big fans of the DFW local music scene and have been going to shows for many years. Basically we decided we wanted to become a part of the scene by forming a band of our own. And we want to experience the art of creating music.

5. How long have you guys known each other?

(Alan) – Brett and Brian have been friends since they were about 4 yrs old. I've known them since fourth grade. And we've recently just met Woozy this past year, through the DFW local rock scene.

6. Who are some of your largest interests musically as a whole?

(Band) – We all have the same interests in similar bands. Some nationals we're all into include Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach, Unloco, Twisted Method, Linkin Park, etc. Also we're heavily influenced by the local scene. Some bands in particular include Neverset, OverScene, Bless the Broken, Miser, and the list goes on.

7. How would you classify your genre?

(Band) – Rock/Metal/Alternative.

8. Being that you are in a new band, how much original material do you have? Do you do any covers in live shows?

(Woozy) – We are currently still writing material, so at the moment what we have is limited. Yes we do play covers at our shows. More now then we will in the future.

9. Being from Dallas, TX, I'm guessing that home town bands such as Drowning Pool and Pantera have a large impact on what you do as a band?

(Brett) – Yes some aspects of our music are greatly influenced by those bands, especially guitar wise. But for others in the band, they might not be as influenced by these particular bands as I am.

10. Do a lot of your songs play off of real life situations that have happened in the past or are they more fictional?

(Woozy) – We try to write music that deals with real life experiences that people can relate to. Some of our own titles include “Fight Back,” “True Feelings,” and “The Quest,” which deal with more realistic situations. But also, we plan to venture off into fictional situations as well.

11. Is the band working on a new CD? If so, when can the fans expect it?

(Brian) – Yes, we are currently working on a four-song demo to be released around late-spring, 2007. We plan to have more EPs or even full lengths in the future.

12. Does the band have any merch available for the fans? If so where can they obtain it?

(Band) – Yes, we have two-song sampler CDs that we can hand out at our live shows. Also, we have posters and promo shots available. Currently, we're in the process of making additional merch to be available at our future shows as well.

13. What can fans expect from a Fallen Breed live show?

(Brian) – We try to put in lots of energy into our live shows; as much as possible so the fans can get into our music.

14. What direction does the future hold for Fallen Breed? Any plans for shows outside TX if possible? (Band) - We plan to continue playing more shows in the DFW area. Also, we'll continue writing as much as possible. As far as shows outside of Texas, we'd love to but, that might be a while.

15. Anything else that you would like the fans to know about you?

(Band) – Stay tuned with us. There will be a lot more in store for fans in the future. You can check us out online at MySpace to stay up to date with the band. Show dates and any other important information will be posted.

Be sure to check them out at their show on Sunday, December 17, 2006 @ the Galaxy Club. Check out the band's MySpace for more information.
